Ready to discover what`s holding you back?
Although there may be some overlap in the benefits of working with a life coach and participating in psychotherapy with a licensed therapist, these professionals have distinct roles and serve unique purposes. Unlike life coaches, therapists and other mental health professionals focus on healing, treating mental health conditions, and helping people work through trauma and other issues from their past.
Start living to your fullest today!
One of the main benefits of working with a life coach is the ability to gain a fresh, informed perspective on problems that you face. In addition to offering new insight into challenges, a life coach can help you to zero in on negative patterns that could be standing in the way of your success.
You deserve to live an extraordinary life. And an extraordinary life begins with taking care of yourself. Knowing that you deserve compassion, love or whatever you call it.
Permission
You may wait for someone to give you permission before starting out on a new journey or goal. The key to success is to give yourself permission to fail. Failure is part of growth and sometimes the greatest inventions come from a previous failure.
Frequently Asked
Questions
Is this a training programme or a coaching programme?
How confidential is a group coaching session?
At the start of the coaching programme the coach helps the group to develop the norms and values of the group coaching programme.
Group members stay within the boundaries of the coaching session and there is mutual agreement that information shared within the coaching session will not be shared outside the session. The focus of the Incredible You™ programme is not on dealing with past traumas but with developing skills to build a success blueprint for each individual’s life. The coach will also deal with individuals and where there is a potential for traumatic events to be shared the coach will manage the process to ensure that the clients is aware of the implications of sharing confidential information or provide a different safe space for the client to share traumatic information confidentially with the coach.
Where does coaching take place?
Coaching takes place online in a weekly Zoom session. This allows for clients across the world to be part of a coaching session.
Coaching is provided to a group of clients that are part of the same programme. The group is limited to 5-7 clients.
The coaching sessions are normally between 2 to 2 1/2 hours in duration, with adequate breaks and different modalities to allow for optimal learning and reflection to take place. The coach also provides homework to allow the clients to embed the learning
Is a group session just as effective as an individual session?
Group coaching sessions can be just as effective or even more effective than individual coaching sessions.
In a group coaching session there is opportunity for even greater exposure to different perceptions in the client’s problems and context as well as opportunities to learn from the lessons of other group members as all group members together work on tasks during the sessions.
The client has an opportunity to not only learn from the coach’s reflection but also from other group members. The coach provides direction and helps the group to stay on course so that the group does not get distracted by individuals within the group.
What is a success blueprint ?
A success blueprint is a life strategy that is developed during the coaching programme. The success blueprint records the coaching process in a strategic plan for the client to implement and guide their life during and after the programme.
The success blueprint is somewhat like a building blueprint, whenever a building is built, it starts with a blueprint, a master plan by the architect according to which the people who are building it will take their steps. A building without a sound blueprint seldom results in something builders would be proud of. Similarly, a life without a blueprint is a haphazard life with little success.
Can I do individual coaching whilst I am on the Incredible You™ programme?
It is not a good idea to do different coaching programmes at the same time. The Incredible You programme requires that the client is focused on the programme objectives and have enough time to implement actions as agreed in the sessions.
If the programme unlocks trauma and or issues that should be ideally dealt with in individual coaching the coach will provide a few individual sessions and help the client to manage their time to deal with the achievement of the programme objectives. The coach can also point the client to other resources or refer the client to other health and wellness practitioners if the need arises. This will be done taking into account the needs of the individual clients and the impact on the group.
